The Rochester by Maven Patterns

The Rochester sewing pattern has been designed with simple, understated styling and thoughtful details in mind. An easy to wear style with a relaxed fit and slight A-line shaping, and gathered front neckline. Featuring a deep centre back pleat, curved hem with side split and stitched facing. The elbow length sleeves have a deep stitched hem. 

  • Version A is a mid-hip length top which is great to wear with jeans.
  • Version B is a knee length dress with a self-tie belt and in-seam pockets
  • Both versions are unlined and have no tricky zip

UK size 8-18. Size chart in images

Fabric Suggestions:

Light- to mid-weight woven fabrics to accommodate the gathered neckline. Light denims, chambray, linen, crepe, cotton lawn and viscose are all suitable.
