Black Stretch 16 Wale Corduroy
This super soft needlecord fabric has a light stretch to it, perfect for adding a little more comfort to your garments. It is a solid black colour. This is a deadstock fabric so it was originally destined for landfill after being unused by a UK clothing manufacturer.
This is 16 wale, which means there are 16 ribs per inch and makes this the widest type of cord that can be classified as pincord (aka needle cord).
Black Stretch corduroy fabric is a great choice for cooler weather clothing such as trousers (like Jessa), thicker skirts (maybe a Salida?) and dungarees (like Heydays). It is also excellent for tactile bags and accessories.
